What is self-hypnosis?
A: Hypnosis is simply a focused state of attention and inner concentration, sometimes called a trance state. We have all experienced this without referring to it as hypnosis. Have you ever been watching a movie or reading a good book and you weren’t aware of what was going on around you? If so, you were probably in a trance state. While in this focused, relaxed state we are able to access the power of our subconscious mind more effectively to make the changes we want and achieve the goals we desire. Your subconscious mind is more powerful than you may think, as it influences about 90% of what we do, say and think every day.
What is biofeedback?
A: Biofeedback is a technique where people learn to gain control of their body's internal functions. Specifically, biofeedback involves learning to sense changes in the body's activity, then using relaxation and other techniques to control the body's responses. Physical changes may be monitored in a number of ways including skin temperature, heart rate, respiration, muscle tension and skin conductance (moisture of the skin). Changes in these parameters indicate the level of activation of the patient's nervous system. Learning to control bodily functions such as heart rate and skin conductance is achieved by first learning to relax. This relaxation is achieved through breathing techniques, imagery, self-hypnosis, etc. This is practiced with the use of a computer that provides “feedback” to the client that physiological changes are occurring with these techniques. Gradually, these relaxation techniques and responses become a subconscious habit.
Biofeedback is especially helpful for headache, anxiety, chronic pain, high blood pressure, and any issue that may benefit from a relaxation response. Children adapt especially well to biofeedback training.
What is your shipping policy?
A: Mother Earth Pillows and aromatherapy products are shipped by UPS unless you note your preference as you order, for United States Postal Service delivery to your mailbox. We will ship in the least expensive manner, therefore smaller items may come US Postal Service in a protective envelope. We cannot ship a UPS package to a PO box, so please check the Postal Service for your shipping option. If you have special directions for leaving your package, please include this information. Do not allow your package to be left in an area exposed to the elements.
Guided Meditation CDs are shipped free of charge within the US via US Postal Service.

What is your return policy?
A: MyRelaxationCenter.com’s customer satisfaction guarantee allows you to evaluate your purchase for up to 30 days. If you’re not completely satisfied with the quality of the product, you can return your purchase to receive a full refund, minus shipping and handling charges. (Sorry, but returns are not possible for digital downloads of audio tracks.)
To receive your refund, simply return the product to our customer service center (My Relaxation Center, 2987 Durham Rd., Green Bay, WI 54311). Please include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number to ensure we apply your refund correctly, and a brief note explaining the reason for the return.
MyRelaxationCenter.com will issue a refund check or credit card refund within 10 business days of receiving the returned merchandise, as long as the return qualifies for a refund in accordance with the conditions specified in this Satisfaction Guarantee. If the returned merchandise does not qualify for a refund, then our customer service center will attempt to notify you of what additional steps may qualify the return for a refund.
In the event our product is damaged during shipment to the customer, MyRelaxationCenter.com will ship a replacement at no additional charge, providing the customer notifies our customer service center within 10 business days of receiving it. How is my information kept confidential?
A: For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes no information regarding the domain or e-mail address.
