Essential 3 dilutes are a uniquely formulated blend of pure essential oil or absolute diluted in pure fractionated coconute carrier oil (5% essential oil to 95% fractionated coconut oil). They have been created as a blend for a ready to use treatment for small areas or applied to pulse points. Dilutes not only save time but also reduce the cost of these valuable oils to an affordable blend.

General Information
Produced by steam distillation of the flowers giving pale yellow oil (which darkens with age) with a sweet, floral top note. This oil is best appreciated in dilution.

This oil is believed to be named after a princess of Nerola in Italy, who wore the essential oil as a fragrance. The flowers were also used in bridal bouquets to calm and soothe nervous apprehensions. The infusion of the dried flowers has also been used in Europe as a mild stimulant. The distillation water, known as Orange flower water is commonly used in cosmetics.

Blends Well With...
Chamomile, Coriander, Clary Sage, Sandalwood, Marjoram, Patchouli, Benzoin, Rosemary, Geranium, Jasmine, Rose, Ylang Ylang, Lemon, Orange, Mandarin and Lime.

Used for...
Blends with all essential oils and particularly useful in flower water for all skin types to soothe, freshen and heal. Neroli is also reputed to have an aphrodisiac effect due to its ability to help to calm and soothe nervous tension. In Aromatherapy may be used in the treatment of shock and anxiety. Used in massage blends and vaporizers.

Our Neroli comes from a producer that purchases the flowers from a small family business who grow the orange trees organically, but without certification. Approx 35% of Tunisia’s flower production is used to make orange flower water that is used in the home market as a general tonic and as a flower water ingredient in cooking.
